Business Systems & ERP

Digital transformation

Transformation changes how work gets done: fewer paper and spreadsheet processes, connected systems, decisions on reliable data. We assess where you are, agree a phased roadmap within budget, and deliver it in stages your people can absorb.

Who this service is for

A good fit if

  • Core processes depend on paper, email attachments or spreadsheets passed between teams.
  • Ageing or unsupported applications are costly to maintain or hard to secure.
  • Leadership wants to modernise with a clear, costed plan, not a list of products.
  • Departmental tools no longer fit together, and growth, acquisition or regulation looms.

What is included

  • Current-state assessment of applications, infrastructure, data, security, processes
  • Stakeholder interviews across departments: pain points and opportunities
  • Target state: which systems do what, connections, data locations
  • Phased roadmap: priorities, dependencies, risks, naira estimates, measurable business cases
  • Delivery: ERP, CRM, integration, automation, cloud, analytics or custom software
  • Change management and governance: communications, training, adoption, steering, reporting

What this service is

Technology that changes how your organisation works, not just which software it runs. Programmes struggle when they start with products instead of problems, or change everything at once; each of our phases proves its value first. After a conversation, assessment and written proposal, you decide at each step whether to continue, and with whom. Planning help: business technology roadmap.

What a well-run programme achieves
  • Focus on your core work, instead of workarounds and IT fires.
  • More done with the same people, without re-keying, chasing and manual reporting.
  • Fewer spending surprises: each phase has an estimate, a business case and a review before the next is funded.
  • Protection for the organisation and its data, with security, access control and backups designed in.
  • Growth without matching administration, so new sites or acquisitions do not multiply manual work.
  • Measured success: a few measures per initiative, such as processing time, error rates or manual steps removed, against today's baseline.

Where we typically help

Process digitisation

Paper forms, email approvals and spreadsheets into automated workflows.

Core systems

ERP and CRM: Prometheus and ERPNext, HubSpot, Salesforce, NetSuite.

Connected systems

Integration, so data is entered once and flows reliably.

Legacy modernisation

Ageing applications re-platformed or replaced with custom software.

Cloud adoption

Suitable workloads to the cloud, with security and cost controls.

Data and AI

Trustworthy analytics; AI where it clearly helps, after an AI readiness assessment.

Common first phases, each valuable alone and a base for the next:

  • Spreadsheet finance or inventory to ERP
  • CRM connected to finance
  • File servers and applications to the cloud
  • One set of management dashboards

We work alongside your IT team and other suppliers: ownership is agreed at the start and progress goes to one steering group. Internal IT stretched? IT consulting can plan and oversee.

Nigerian operating context

Built into the roadmap, not found at go-live:

  • Nigeria Data Protection Act 2023 (NDPA), enforced by the NDPC
  • Hosting in local data centres or regions abroad
  • Sector rules, such as banking and insurance
  • Power resilience and redundant connectivity
  • Exchange-rate exposure of dollar-priced software and cloud
  • Mobile-first users; WCAG 2.2 AA as good practice

There is no major public cloud region in Nigeria, so hosting is a real decision. General information, not legal advice.

Delivery

How the work is delivered

  1. Assess

Review systems, data, security and processes with their users: what works, what does not, and why.

    Output: Current-state assessment.

  2. Prioritise and plan

Agree the target state, then sequence initiatives by value, risk, dependency and budget.

Output: Roadmap, cost estimates, business cases.

  3. Mobilise

An early, visible win that sets up governance, reporting and change habits for the programme.

Output: First initiative under way, governed.

  4. Deliver in phases

Scope, test, train and go live per initiative, retiring old systems as new ones take over.

Output: Working systems and adoption reports.

  5. Review and adjust

Measure against the baseline, record lessons, update the roadmap before the next phase.

Output: Phase review and updated roadmap.

Scope at a glance

Not included unless agreed

  • Licences, cloud subscriptions and hardware, bought from vendors
  • Restructuring, HR or legal advice; promised savings or revenue figures
  • Work outside the agreed phase, scoped and approved separately

What we need from you

  • An executive sponsor who decides priorities and budget
  • Access to department leads and day-to-day process staff
  • System, contract and licence documents; agreed success measures per phase

Before handover

  • Written acceptance criteria per phase; benefits measured against the baseline
  • Users trained and supported through go-live, not just shown the system
  • Retired systems decommissioned: data archived or migrated, access removed

What affects the cost

  • Departments, sites and systems in scope
  • Age and condition of systems and data
  • Parallel initiatives; integration, migration, security, data location needs
  • Training and change-management needs

No package prices: estimates in naira from an agreed scope, taxes shown separately.

Questions buyers usually ask

How long does digital transformation take?

Treat it as a programme of phases. The assessment estimates each one, and each is committed to only after the previous one is reviewed, so you are never locked into a plan that no longer fits.

Do we have to replace everything?

No. Many systems are worth keeping and connecting. The assessment separates what to retire, modernise or keep, and we replace systems only where the case is clear.

How do you make sure staff actually use the new systems?

We plan adoption from the start. The people who do the work help design and test, role-based training uses real scenarios, and we track usage after go-live to fix problems early.

Ready to modernise, but not sure where to start?

Tell us which processes and systems hold your teams back. We will reply to arrange a conversation about an assessment and first phase.
