Business Systems & ERP

NetSuite implementation and integration

NetSuite is a cloud ERP for financials, purchasing, inventory and orders. We move you off on-premise accounting, set it up for Nigerian VAT and multiple currencies, and connect it to your other systems.

Who this service is for

A good fit if

  • You are outgrowing on-premise or desktop accounting, such as Sage 100.
  • You licensed NetSuite and need it implemented, or your implementation stalled.
  • Your live account needs clean-up, better reporting, new workflows or subsidiaries.
  • You run several currencies, states or countries and need consolidated reporting.

What is included

  • Process discovery mapped to standard NetSuite, gaps recorded
  • Subsidiaries, accounts, currencies, departments, classes and locations configured
  • VAT (7.5 %) and withholding tax setup as your accountant advises
  • Roles and permissions around who sees and approves what
  • Data migration with reconciled balances, open transactions and records
  • Workflows, searches, fields and forms; SuiteScript only where needed, documented

What this service is

We implement, optimise and integrate Oracle NetSuite: one vendor-hosted system for financials, purchasing, inventory, orders and reporting across subsidiaries and currencies, for growing organisations that would rather not maintain servers.

Financials

Ledger, payables, receivables, bank reconciliation, fixed assets, budgets, period close.

Multi-entity

Subsidiaries, intercompany, currency revaluation, consolidation, where your edition supports them.

Nigerian setup

VAT and withholding tax codes, your banks' statement and payment file formats, house-style templates, as your accountant directs.

Purchasing and inventory

Requisitions, orders, receiving, locations, lot or serial tracking, reorder points.

Order to cash

Quotes, sales orders, fulfilment, invoicing and collections.

Workflow and reporting

SuiteFlow approvals, saved searches, dashboards and reports agreed with their users.

Moving from on-premise accounting

Leaving Sage 100 or similar is a finance project as much as a technology one. It changes who maintains servers, remote access, upgrades and integration (on-premise vs cloud ERP).

  1. Agree the dataCustomers, suppliers, items, accounts, opening balances, open items.
  2. Archive historyIn a copy of the old system: simpler, cheaper.
  3. ReconcileTrial migrations against the trial balance and aged reports.
  4. Cut overAfter a trial month-end, at a period end.
  5. RetireOld servers and licences go; remote staff need no VPN.

Integration and fit

NetSuite must exchange data reliably with a CRM (Salesforce, HubSpot), e-commerce, warehouse or shipping, banking, payroll and data warehouse systems. Through SuiteTalk REST web services or other options, we choose native connectors, an integration platform or direct APIs by your volumes and skills, under our system integration rules: one owner per data type, retries, alerts, reconciliation.

Not a NetSuite partner or reseller. NetSuite is one of several ERPs we work with. You license it directly from Oracle NetSuite, and we advise on modules so you pay only for what you need.

Questions buyers usually ask

Are you a NetSuite partner?

No. We are an independent implementer. You license NetSuite from Oracle NetSuite, the account is yours, and we work in it with the access you grant.

Does NetSuite handle VAT, withholding tax and multiple currencies?

Yes, with multiple currencies and configurable tax codes, useful when you buy in dollars and report in naira. We configure VAT and withholding tax as your accountant advises, confirm what your edition supports before design, and do not decide how transactions are taxed.

Can you help with a NetSuite account that is already live?

Yes. We review configuration, workflows, reporting and integrations, fix what is causing problems and document the result.

How does NetSuite compare with Prometheus or ERPNext?

NetSuite is a vendor-hosted subscription ERP. Prometheus, built on ERPNext, gives you more control over hosting and data. Our ERP solutions service compares both against your requirements before you commit.
