Prometheus ERP
Promatics' own ERP on open-source ERPNext: industry editions, Nigerian configuration, delivered and supported by Promatics.
ERPNext is an open-source ERP for accounting, buying, selling, inventory, manufacturing, projects, HR and more. We implement it, migrate your data, train staff, then host, upgrade and support it as you grow.
ERPNext, built on the open-source Frappe framework, keeps accounting, purchasing, sales, inventory, manufacturing, projects and HR in one database, so a sale, a stock movement and its accounting entry stay consistent. Beyond configuration, we customise and automate it.
Processes, data trustworthy enough to migrate, who does what: agreed with each owner and recorded.
Role-based permissions for real job roles; workflows for purchase orders, expense claims and payments.
CSV or Excel through the import tool, or the API for larger, repeated loads.
Your servers, a local data centre, your cloud account (a region abroad), Frappe Cloud, or us.
There is no major public cloud region in Nigeria, and we plan for power and connectivity interruptions so users keep access. We migrate from spreadsheets, entry-level accounting and legacy ERPs such as Sage, QuickBooks, NetSuite and Microsoft Dynamics. Wherever it runs: automated backups, monitoring, a tested restore, and updates checked with your customisations and integrations on a test site before production, in an agreed window. Users get day-to-day help and small changes within the plan, with scope and response targets set in the agreement; administrators learn to manage users, permissions and settings.
| Check | Old system | ERPNext test site | Result |
|---|---|---|---|
| Customers imported | 1,284 | 1,284 | Match |
| Accounts receivable total | ₦41,265,018.00 | ₦41,265,018.00 | Match |
| Stock value, main warehouse | ₦9,631,000.00 | ₦9,587,000.00 | Difference of ₦44,000.00 |
The stock difference traces to two items with inconsistent units of measure in the old system. They are corrected at the source, the import is rerun and totals are checked again before sign-off.
A health check comes first: version and upgrades, configuration, customisations and where their code lives, integrations, permissions, hosting, and whether backups really restore. You get a short report with urgent fixes and a plan before we take on support.
