Managed IT & Support

Network and connectivity services

Every application, call and cloud service depends on the network. We design, deploy and manage networks and internet links, from one office to many sites, with monitoring, documentation and remote or on-site fixes.

Who this service is for

A good fit if

  • Wi-Fi drops, the internet slows at busy times or remote staff struggle to connect.
  • Power cuts or a single internet link regularly stop work, and nobody has planned for it.
  • No current network diagram, unknown out-of-support equipment, or a firewall unreviewed in years.
  • You are opening, moving or linking sites, or domains or SSL certificates expired unexpectedly.

What is included

  • Assessment and inventory of equipment, connections and configurations
  • Design: topology, segmentation, Wi-Fi coverage and redundancy
  • Firewall, switch, wireless and VPN configuration and deployment
  • Internet planning, provider coordination, second provider or 4G/5G failover
  • 24/7 monitoring for managed-service clients, with alerts and reports
  • Domain and SSL renewals; diagrams and configuration backups kept current

What this service is

Everything that connects your people to each other, to your systems and to the internet. We deliver it as a project (a new office, a firewall replacement) or as ongoing management within managed IT services, where it is a core service in every fully managed agreement.

Wired

Switches, VLANs and power over Ethernet for phones, access points and cameras.

Wireless

Coverage planning, secure authentication and separate guest access.

Firewalls and remote access

Perimeter security, VPNs and secure access for remote staff.

Internet

Providers compared, installs coordinated, a second provider or 4G/5G failover so one outage does not stop work.

Multi-site

Secure links between offices, warehouses and data centres.

Power backup

Switches, firewalls and access points checked for UPS or inverter power: grid outages often cause network downtime.

Designed, not grown

Topology, the layout of a network, decides how reliable and manageable it is, so we design deliberately rather than adding one device at a time. We fit the structure to your buildings, sites and growth plans, then segment staff, guests, phones, cameras and critical systems so a fault or attacker cannot spread far.

Common network designs
DesignHow it worksSuits
StarDevices connect to a central switchMost offices; easy to troubleshoot
TreeConnected star networks in a hierarchyLarger buildings, several floors
HubBranch sites connect back to a central locationMulti-site organisations
Linear (bus)Devices share one lineSome older or industrial setups

Remote and hybrid work

Hybrid work loads internet links, VPNs and cloud access, and widens what attackers can target. Staff connect securely without slowing down: VPNs or zero-trust access where it suits, multi-factor authentication on every remote connection, and clear home-network guidance. Tracked domain and certificate renewals mean websites and services never fail because something expired. Network security overlaps with our cybersecurity services: threat detection, email security and security assessments.

Delivery

How the work is delivered

  1. Assess

We document equipment, connections, configurations and performance, and find risks and bottlenecks.

    Output: Network assessment and diagram.

  2. Design

Topology, segmentation, Wi-Fi, security and connectivity, with options and estimates.

Output: Design and bill of materials.

  3. Deploy

Configured, installed and tested in planned change windows to limit disruption.

    Output: Working network, test results.

  4. Manage

Monitoring, firmware, configuration and user-access updates; incidents fixed remotely or on site.

    Output: Availability, capacity, security reports.

Scope at a glance

Not included unless agreed

  • Equipment, cabling materials and licences, quoted separately; provider service charges
  • Physical cabling installation, unless scoped in writing
  • Building or electrical work

What we need from you

  • Admin access to firewalls, switches, access points and provider portals
  • Provider, registrar and certificate account details; floor plans for Wi-Fi surveys
  • A contact at each site for physical access

Before handover

  • Configurations backed up before and after every change; firewall rules pruned
  • Wi-Fi coverage and throughput tested where people actually work
  • Diagrams and credentials stored securely; domain, certificate and contract renewals tracked

What affects the cost

  • Sites, users, devices and building size
  • Wi-Fi coverage and existing equipment's age
  • Redundancy: backup internet, UPS or inverter capacity
  • Security: segmentation and remote access

No package prices: estimates in naira from an agreed scope, taxes shown separately.

Questions buyers usually ask

Which network equipment do you work with?

Cisco, Sophos, WatchGuard, Extreme Networks, Dell Technologies and VMware virtualised networking. We recommend business-class equipment from authorised channels. Naming vendors implies no partnership with them.

Can you help us choose an internet provider?

Yes. We compare options at your address, coordinate installation and add backup connections where needed, such as fibre with a second provider or 4G/5G failover. The provider bills its service charges.

Do you manage networks at more than one location?

Yes, over site-to-site VPNs or other secure links, planned so shared systems stay up if one site's internet fails. Extra locations increase network management charges.

What happens when the network goes down?

Managed-service clients have 24/7 monitoring, so many problems are caught before users notice. We fix remotely where possible and on site when needed. Response targets are set in the service agreement.

Is your network holding you back?

Tell us about your sites, your connections and what keeps going wrong. We will arrange a network conversation.
