Managed IT & Support

IT consulting and advisory (vCIO)

The right technology, implemented and managed well, supports growth. Our virtual CIO (vCIO) gives you senior guidance on strategy, budgets, risk and compliance, and a roadmap tied to your goals.

Who this service is for

A good fit if

  • No senior IT adviser for technology decisions, data protection or cybersecurity obligations.
  • IT spending grows each year, but nobody can explain what it buys.
  • You are planning growth, a new location, a merger or a major system change.
  • Your IT manager needs a strategic sounding board and help presenting to leadership.

What is included

  • Current-state assessment: systems, costs, risks, business fit
  • Prioritised roadmap with dependencies, rough effort and owners
  • Budget forecast in naira (US dollars where priced in dollars)
  • Risk and compliance summary in technical terms (NDPA, sector rules)
  • Lifecycle plans and vendor comparisons for major decisions
  • Strategic business reviews and briefings in business language

What this service is

A vCIO brings deliberate technology decisions, account reviews and roadmaps that support digital transformation, without a full-time CIO. It is core to every fully managed IT agreement and available on its own. Many providers fix what breaks; we lead with strategy and compliance guidance.

Save time and money

Spend on what matters, drop what does not.

Less frustration

Staff stop fighting slow, unreliable or badly chosen systems.

Stronger defences

Against data breaches, ransomware and legal exposure.

Lower compliance risk

Know where sensitive data lives and how it is protected.

Standards-based architecture and lifecycle management mean planned replacements, fewer emergencies.

One-time or ongoing

A one-time assessment answers one question (replace a system, move to the cloud, network a second office) with a written recommendation and a scope for any provider. An ongoing vCIO knows your organisation, joins planning meetings, keeps the roadmap current and flags risks early, also for organisations with their own IT or another provider. Many start with an assessment and decide later about managed IT. Either way: what to do, in what order, at what rough cost, and who owns it (roadmap guide).

Questions buyers usually ask

What is a vCIO?

A virtual chief information officer gives you the strategic direction, budgeting, planning and consulting of a full-time CIO, part-time or on a schedule. Fully managed IT clients get one as a core service.

Do you help with data protection and compliance?

From a technology perspective: how your systems store, protect and share personal data under the NDPA, and what a sector regulator such as the CBN expects of licensees. It is not legal advice, we do not certify compliance, and we tell you when to involve a lawyer or auditor.

Are your recommendations independent?

We provide some services an assessment may recommend, and we say so. Comparisons include options we do not offer, and the roadmap is written so you can take it to any provider.

How often are strategic business reviews held?

As agreed with you; commonly quarterly for managed clients. Each covers service performance and recurring problems, risks (security findings, end-of-life systems, expiring warranties), upcoming renewals and purchases, and roadmap progress or changes.
