ERP implementation

Technology draining resources instead of helping? An ERP can get you back on track. We implement Prometheus (our ERP built on ERPNext) and ERPNext, and integrate with or migrate from Sage, NetSuite, QuickBooks and Dynamics.

Who this service is for

A good fit if

  • Finance, sales, purchasing and inventory sit in separate tools; month-end means reconciling spreadsheets.
  • You have outgrown entry-level accounting and need inventory, projects or multiple companies.
  • An ERP renewal or upgrade is due; dollar-priced licences make open source worth comparing.
  • You want one provider to plan, implement, customise and support the system.

What is included

  • Readiness review: processes, systems, data quality and priorities
  • Configuration (companies, VAT, withholding tax, roles, workflows), customisations, reports, automation
  • Data migration from your legacy system, with reconciled balances
  • Integrations with CRM, e-commerce, payroll, banking and reporting tools
  • Role-based training, go-live support and ongoing support options

What this service is

An ERP puts finance, sales, purchasing, inventory, projects, HR and operations in one database, so a sale, a stock movement and its accounting entry always agree. We plan, implement and support it, led by Prometheus, our white-labelled ERP built on ERPNext, and ERPNext.

Grow

We run the ERP technology; your team serves customers and operations.

Get more done

Enter information once; everyone who needs it sees it.

Budget without surprises

Written scope and estimates in naira (or US dollars where priced in dollars) first; monthly support plans.

Protect your data

Role-based permissions, audit trails and tested backups against problems and intruders.

Lower operating costs

One system replaces overlapping tools and manual reconciliation.

Work from anywhere

Web-based and secure anywhere; planned hosting rides out power and connectivity interruptions.

Packages fit your size and budget, starting with the processes that matter most.

Signs it is time for an ERP
  • Month-end close depends on reconciling spreadsheets.
  • Nobody trusts stock figures, so staff count by hand before promising delivery.
  • The same customer or order is typed into two or three systems.
  • Managers wait days for reports that should be on demand.
  • Adding a location, company or currency feels like starting over.

Prometheus and ERPNext

Both cover accounting, CRM, purchasing, inventory, manufacturing, projects, HR and more, with your data in a standard database you control, and can be customised and automated as far as your processes require. Prometheus adds configuration for VAT, withholding tax and PAYE, Promatics support and industry editions:

  • Healthcare and laboratories
  • Distribution and retail
  • Legal
  • Non-profit

Working with the ERP you already have

On Sage 50, Sage 300, Sage Intacct, NetSuite, QuickBooks Online or Dynamics 365 Business Central? Replacing it is not always right.

Integrate

With CRM, e-commerce, payroll, banking or reporting, through supported APIs and connectors: system integration.

Extend

Reporting and workflow automation around it; see NetSuite.

Migrate

To Prometheus or ERPNext when you decide, with reconciled balances and a controlled cut-over.

Naming a product describes platforms we work with; proprietary licences are bought from publishers or resellers.

Delivery

How the work is delivered

  1. Readiness review

Map processes, systems, data and what the ERP must achieve first.

    Output: Readiness report, priorities.

  2. Choose the approach

Compare Prometheus, ERPNext and integration; agree scope, responsibilities and first phase.

    Output: Recommendation and phased plan.

  3. Implement

Configure, customise and integrate in a test environment, with regular reviews.

    Output: Configured, integrated test system.

  4. Migrate, test and train

Migrate and reconcile data, test real scenarios with staff, train each role.

    Output: Signed-off tests, trained users.

  5. Go live and support

Controlled cut-over, early-life support, then ongoing support if agreed.

Output: Live system and handover pack.

Scope at a glance

Not included unless agreed

  • Accounting, tax, payroll or legal advice
  • Proprietary licences you buy directly; hardware and hosting unless scoped
  • Cleaning up years of historical data, unless scoped separately

What we need from you

  • A sponsor who decides processes, and named owners per area
  • Your accountant's input on accounts, taxes and opening balances
  • Access, clean data exports, staff time for testing and training

Before handover

  • Totals reconciled before go-live; backup restore tested with your host.
  • Every role tested for least access; customisations and integrations documented with reasons.
  • Admin access and documentation, so you never depend on one person.

What affects the cost

  • Modules, companies, locations and users
  • Data volume and quality to migrate
  • Process fit with standard ERP features
  • Integrations, customisations, hosting and support level

No package prices: estimates in naira from an agreed scope, taxes shown separately.

Questions buyers usually ask

Why do you lead with Prometheus and ERPNext?

They cover most mid-sized needs with no per-user licence fees for the software, your data in an open-source system you control, and no limit to customisation. We still assess your current platform fairly and recommend integration where it fits better.

Can you migrate us from Sage, QuickBooks or another ERP?

Yes. We export customers, suppliers, items, open transactions and opening balances, map them, test the import and reconcile totals with your accountant before go-live. You decide how much history comes across.

How long does an ERP implementation take?

It depends on modules, data and integrations. We phase the work so key processes go live first, and estimate the timeline after the readiness review, not before.

What does ongoing support look like?

A monthly plan: user help, fixes, small changes, updates and monitoring, with scope and response targets set in the agreement. Larger changes are quoted separately.

Is it time for a proper ERP?

Tell us which systems you use today and what is not working. We will reply to arrange a conversation about your options.
