Promatics Technologies is seeking a skilled and dedicated Analyst, IT Support to join our innovative team. As a leading provider of cutting-edge IT solutions, we require a support professional who can ensure the smooth operation of our internal systems and provide exceptional technical assistance to our staff and clients. This role is crucial in maintaining our high standards of service and supporting our diverse range of projects across mobile app development, web applications, and emerging technologies.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the primary point of contact for all IT-related issues, responding to and resolving support tickets in a timely and efficient manner
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and network issues across various platforms including Windows, macOS, and mobile devices
- Manage and maintain our IT infrastructure, including servers, networks, and cloud-based systems (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Implement and maintain IT security measures to protect company and client data
- Provide user training on new technologies, software, and best practices in IT security
- Collaborate closely with our development teams to identify and resolve technical issues that may impact project delivery
- Maintain comprehensive documentation of IT processes, procedures, and configurations
- Conduct regular system audits and prepare reports on IT performance metrics
- Assist in the evaluation and implementation of new technologies to improve our IT capabilities
- Participate in on-call rotations to provide 24/7 support for critical systems
- Manage and optimize our ticketing system to ensure efficient tracking and resolution of IT issues
- Contribute to the development of IT policies and procedures to enhance overall operational efficiency
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in IT support roles, preferably in a software development environment
- Strong knowledge of Windows and macOS operating systems, as well as mobile platforms (iOS, Android)
- Proficiency in networking concepts and troubleshooting (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPN)
- Experience with cloud services and infrastructure (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud)
- Familiarity with IT service management frameworks (e.g., ITIL) and ticketing systems
- Knowledge of scripting languages (e.g., PowerShell, Bash) for automation of IT tasks
- Understanding of cybersecurity principles and best practices
- Excellent problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and work under pressure
- Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical users
- ITIL, CompTIA A+, Network+, or other relevant IT certifications are a plus
- Experience with database management and basic SQL knowledge
- Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git) and development workflows
