The ideal candidate will drive our growth by identifying new business opportunities, nurturing client relationships, and contributing to our overall business strategy. This role is crucial in expanding our market presence and achieving our revenue goals across various industries.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute strategic business development plans to identify and pursue new opportunities in the IT services sector, with a focus on our core offerings: mobile apps, web applications, and emerging tech solutions
  • Proactively build and maintain a robust pipeline of potential clients through networking, cold calling, and leveraging industry connections
  • Create and deliver compelling sales presentations and proposals tailored to each client’s specific needs, highlighting our expertise in areas such as e-commerce, ERP systems, and healthcare IT solutions
  • Collaborate closely with our technical teams to understand our service offerings in depth, enabling you to effectively communicate complex IT concepts to non-technical stakeholders
  • Negotiate contracts and close deals, ensuring alignment with company pricing strategies and profitability goals
  • Conduct thorough market research to identify industry trends, competitor activities, and potential new service areas for Promatics to explore
  • Represent Promatics at industry events, conferences, and trade shows to enhance our brand visibility and generate new leads
  • Work closely with the project management team to ensure smooth handover of new clients and projects
  • Maintain accurate records of all business development activities, client interactions, and pipeline status in our CRM system
  • Analyze sales data and market trends to provide insights and recommendations for improving our business development strategies

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Computer Science, or a related field; MBA is a plus
  • Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in business development or sales roles within the IT services industry
  • Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets in a B2B environment
  • Strong understanding of IT services, digital solutions, and emerging technologies such as AI, IoT, and blockchain
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships at all levels of an organization
  • Demonstrated ability to understand and articulate technical concepts to non-technical audiences
  • Proficiency in ERP & CRM systems, Microsoft Office suite, and business analytics tools
  • Strong negotiation skills and the ability to close complex, high-value deals
  • Self-motivated with excellent time management and organizational skills
  • Willingness to travel as needed for client meetings and industry events
