Promatics Technologies is seeking a creative and user-focused UX/UI Designer to join our innovative design team. As a key player in our digital solutions division, you will be responsible for creating intuitive, visually appealing, and user-centered designs for our web and mobile applications. This role offers an exciting opportunity to work on diverse projects across various industries, collaborating closely with our development teams to bring cutting-edge digital experiences to life.
Responsibilities
- Create user-centered designs by understanding business requirements, user feedback, and usability findings
- Develop UI mockups, prototypes, and wireframes using industry-standard design tools (e.g., Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD)
- Conduct user research and usability testing to inform design decisions
- Create and maintain comprehensive design systems and style guides to ensure consistency across all products
- Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and other stakeholders to implement designs
- Develop and maintain user personas and user journey maps
- Design intuitive navigation structures and information architectures
- Create visually appealing and functional designs for both web and mobile platforms
- Incorporate accessibility standards into designs to ensure inclusivity
- Analyze user feedback and usage metrics to continuously improve designs
- Stay up-to-date with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and emerging technologies
- Participate in design sprints and ideation sessions to generate innovative solutions
- Present and defend design decisions to stakeholders and team members
- Contribute to the overall user experience strategy of the company
- Mentor junior designers and provide constructive feedback on their work
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field
- 3-5 years of experience in UX/UI design for web and mobile applications
- Strong portfolio demonstrating your design process, problem-solving skills, and a range of project types
- Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Sketch, Adobe XD, and InVision
- Solid understanding of user-centered design principles and best practices
- Experience with responsive and adaptive design for various devices and screen sizes
- Knowledge of accessibility standards and how to implement them in designs
- Familiarity with design systems and component-based design approaches
- Basic understanding of front-end development (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) to effectively communicate with developers
- Experience conducting user research and usability testing
- Strong visual design skills with a keen eye for typography, color theory, and layout
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
- Ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environment
- Experience with animation and motion design is a plus
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum development methodologies
- Knowledge of industry-standard wireframing and prototyping tools
